Vanilla Strawberry souffle

Are you looking for an simple, tasty and easy dessert? Maybe you are wondering… does that exist? For instance, this one! It meets the requirements, it is quite eye-catching and you can prepare it in the twinkling of an eye.

In this case I have not made it very complicated with the ingredients, since I wanted to make it super basic, but you can add whatever you want and experiment with many variants (lemon peel, spices, other flavors, etc.)

You can also add a few more calories to it, complementing egg whites with yogurt or cream, it will be thicker.

The only difficulty I have had with this recipe has been when trying to photograph it, because it deflates very quickly. You need to have everything ready to immortalize it as soon as it comes out from the oven. And also to contain oneself for a few minutes before eating it warm!


Ingredients for 4 units

3 egg whites
10 strawberries
1 tablespoon of honey
4 tablespoons of vanilla sugar



Whisk egg whites until stiff.

Clean strawberries and chop them.

Grind strawberries together with honey in a mixer.

Add strawberry purée and vanilla sugar to the egg whites and mix it until color is homogeneous.

Preheat oven to 200ºC and bake them for 13-15 minutes (first 7 minutes to 200ºC and last 7 minutes to 180ºC), checking from time to time so that they are not bunt.


To be considered

It´s better to eat it while warm, but also nice if you store it for a few hours in the fridge.
